Keynote: Mobilizing to Build Community Resilience

What does it mean for a community to be resilient? How does a community’s resilience contribute to – and benefit from – work to advance equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation? This presentation will explore these questions and highlight why achieving our vision of equity requires the coordinated contributions of residents, community groups and an array of sectors. Participants will also be given an opportunity to explore and identify immediate actions that they can take to begin taking immediate action.

A roadmap to an anti-racist future: participants will leave with steps on how to implement systemic change in their everyday professional and personal lives.
